Survey of Outdoor Recreation Amenity Providers
Every five years, providers of recreational services such as concessionaires at local or State parks and private outdoor recreation businesses are polled to learn of their facilities and operations, of participant volume, achievements, and needs or requests for improvements to their recreation amenity. These surveys are conducted state-wide by the Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism. Results are part of the federally-required Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP) and are used to establish criteria for funding of outdoor recreation projects in Louisiana through the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) housed within the Office of State Parks.
If you are a provider of outdoor recreation services or amenities your input is critical. You should have received a postcard or emailed communication inviting you to participate in this study. If not, please click below to begin the survey.
